Happy Monday and Happy Halloween
I know, Monday isn’t everyone’s favorite day cause we still want that one more weekend day, I feel your pain.
But lately, Monday for me is like every other day, because I’m home and just doing some self study preparing for school. What’s your Monday like? Are you dressed up as anything today? Me, na, hahaa. I’m at home all day, I’m a homebody.
I wish you have a spooky time on Halloween. But don’t get too scared though.
As many of you may or may not know, part of the things I am is a lyricist. I write lyrics for people to use, from ballad to EDM, to pop, and I started dabbling into country too which was inspired by the series Narshville. I’m yet to finish it, I started it yesterday night, still needs some editing though.
In my next post, I’ll be telling you guys ‘The Story Behind My Lyrics’. 99.9% of my lyrics are extremely personal and from personal experiences, and I feel like it’s time for me to share those stories and experiences with you. At times, the story behind the lyrics or song is what makes you appreciate the writer and the singer more.
Ever since I was a child , I would pick up an empty foil wrap and pretend it was my microphone and that I was on stage and I would hear the crowd screaming and chanting my name as I belted out a gospel song. All this was in my bedroom, at times even in the living room, and even in our yard.
Then when I started writing, I would write lyrics and sing them to myself and just feel so free.
As time went by, my writing became better and better and here I am today, a lyricist.
I’m really looking forward to sharing my lyrics with you.
Till next time.
